When You Can File Dormant Accounts with Companies House

Dormant company accounts are generally relevant where a company is dormant for Companies House purposes and has had no significant accounting transactions during the relevant accounting period, subject to the applicable rules and to your company’s own circumstances. “Significant accounting transactions” broadly means transactions that would normally be recorded in the company’s accounting records, so a company that has only received limited payments of a type the rules allow to be disregarded may still be able to file as dormant — but this depends on the exact nature of those transactions.
