A micro-entity is a very small company that meets at least two of the following: turnover under £1M, assets under £500,000, and 10 employees or fewer. If you meet these, you can file simplified micro-entity accounts.

Micro-entity accounts are simplified annual accounts for the smallest companies, prepared under FRS 105. To qualify, your company must meet at least two of three criteria: turnover under u00a31 million, balance sheet under u00a3500,000, and 10 or fewer employees. Many small limited companies, LLPs, and CICs in Staffordshire qualify.

Our service covers the preparation and filing of your micro-entity accounts with Companies House, along with the CT600 Corporation Tax return to HMRC. We also handle your confirmation statement, and can manage VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping as needed.

The CT600 is your Corporation Tax return filed with HMRC, while the micro-entity accounts are filed with Companies House. Both must be submitted within nine months of your year-end for the accounts, and twelve months for the CT600. We coordinate both filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

FRS 105 is the accounting standard for micro-entities in the UK. It simplifies reporting by reducing disclosure requirements, making it quicker and cheaper to prepare accounts. Using FRS 105 correctly is essential for compliance and to avoid filing under the wrong standard.

Missing the Companies House deadline results in automatic late-filing penalties, starting at u00a3150 and increasing over time. HMRC also charges interest and penalties for late CT600 filing. Our service includes deadline monitoring to help you avoid these costly consequences.

We offer simple, transparent fixed fees with no hidden costs. Your price depends on the services you need, such as accounts preparation, CT600 filing, or additional VAT and payroll work. We provide a clear quote upfront so you know exactly what you’ll pay.

Yes, LLPs and Community Interest Companies (CICs) that meet the micro-entity criteria can also use our service. We ensure your accounts comply with the specific reporting requirements for your business structure.

Getting started is easy u2013 simply contact us via our website or phone. We’ll discuss your business, confirm eligibility, and provide a fixed-price quote. Our paperless onboarding means you can upload documents securely online, and we’ll handle the rest.
